  Click to go to that date March 11 March 18 March 22  March 11, 2004 - I went to the doctor for my first visit today! My mom and sister went with me to watch Heaven so she could go but wouldn't have to go in the back with me. My blood pressure was a little high, so I have to go back next week to have it rechecked. Dr. Garrard said if it's still high next week he'll put me on medicine for it. No big deal really, not pre-eclampsia, if it's anything it's just genetic high blood pressure. My mom has it and my grandfather did. I got to hear the baby's heart beat! It felt just as special as when I heard Heaven's the first time. It wasn't very loud, but he/she is still so tiny. In 8 weeks I'll have my ultrasound, yay! I hope he/she cooperates and lets us see his/her gender! We're really hoping for a boy, but I have a feeling it's a girl. I'll re-update next week when I find out about my blood pressure! March 18, 2004 - Well, I've been diagnosed with cronic high blood pressure and I'm now on medicine for it. I have to go back in two weeks to make sure the medicine is doing what it's suppose to. Since it is cronic, I will be on blood pressure medication for the rest of my life. I knew some day it would happen, my mom has it and so did her dad. I have been SO sick, AGAIN! My doctor said it sounded like a mixture of my high blood pressure (severe headaches and dizziness) and a stomach virus (throwing up a LOT and just feeling yucky). I didn't get to hear the baby's heartbeat today though, maybe I'll get to when I go back in two weeks! It's an amazing sound! If I remember, I'll take my recorder and record it so I can put a wav of it up. March 22, 2004 - I'm feeling a LOT better today compared to the past week! I had been SO sick! So far no more headaches since I've been on my medicine, thank God. But it has kinda made my chest feel funny, like my heart was beating too fast or too hard. I had my mom check and my pulse was fine and so was my heart (not beating too hard or anything), so it's most likely just me. I just REALLY hate taking my medicine! I have to take it four times a day, so I take it at 6am when William gets up (I go back to sleep...), noon, 6pm, and midnight. I've been so tired due to being so sick so it's been hard to stay up until midnight to take it! But things should start getting better soon! My next visit is April 1st, so this will most likely be my last entry for March.
