  Click to go to that date July 3 July 26  July 3, 2004 - Well, we're HOPING we won't have to work on fixing the "junk room" into a suitable room for the baby!! We're waiting to hear if we got approved for a loan to buy a house!! We're so excited (and nervous, LoL)!! We have found a house and are in LOVE with it! It is three bedrooms, one and a half baths, and is on about one acre of land. The house is PERFECT. We SHOULD find out something by this Tuesday (July 6). Keep your fingers crossed for us that we get it! Well, I FINALLY took the time to get a pregnancy picture of me, LoL. This is me at 28 weeks (to the day!). July 26, 2004 - Things didn't go as we'd hoped about getting a new house. So, we're back to the drawing board about having to fix a room here. A lot of work has to be done, but we'll get it done in time!! There's less than two months until the baby is due....time is REALLY flying! Things went well at the doctor today, as always! I had to see Dr. Lawhon instead of Dr. Garrard, but he was very nice. The only bad thing was that I had to sit in the room for like 30 minutes while he went to deliver a baby, LoL, gotta love that! While we were sitting in the waiting room Tiffany (my little sister) and Heaven were sitting in the floor reading a magazine, me and my mom were sitting there talking. Next thing I know this dark haired girl sits not too far from us, and after a few minutes says, "Michelle?" Of course I had no idea who she was, LoL, but I look up and she says, "It's Paige, I used to live on Longview." Longview is the name of the street I grew up on, and Paige was my best friend. I couldn't believe it was her, it'd been SO long since we saw each other! We had to have been no older than 15 the last time we saw each other. We talked for a few minutes until I was called into the back. It was really nice to get to see her again. It turns out I lost another 3 lbs! Yay! That's a total of 10 lbs I've lost so far. I know you're wondering why I'm LOSING weight and happy about it when I'm pregnant....I should be GAINING weight, right? Well, not right with my size. Since I'm so big, it's good that I stay the same weight or even lose slightly. Don't worry, it's not just me saying that, the doctors have been really happy with it. Once I finally got to see Dr. Lawhon we of course listened to the baby's heart beat. I got to hear it MUCH louder than I usually do, very good, strong heart beat! Dr. Lawhon said everything looked (and sounded) great. He said he was very happy with my weight, that I was doing wonderful with it. He also said I'd have to start coming weekly now for nonstress tests because of my high blood pressure. I don't really know a lot about what to expect other than they'll monitor the baby's heart to see if there's any changes in the rate with more movement from her. The tests should take about an hour, THAT'S not gonna be fun! I go back Monday, August 2, so we'll see how that goes!
